Smart Fasteners safely and securely fasten heat mats to most types of farrowing and nursery flooring, including woven wire, tri-bar, and plastic. Installation is simple. Press the center of the Smart Fastener down in between the slots, while keeping the two outer tabs above the flooring. This prevents the Smart Fastener from falling into the pit and allows for multiple uses. The Smart Fastener requires a 0.40-in. (10 mm) opening for easiest installation.
